No Show Fri 3 June 2011

Its not very often we get a " knows show " but it happened  yesterday for a 2 night booking - due to arrive 1730 - 1830 and we were going out for dinner at 2015. We called mobile number we had been given no answer so left a message - did this twice still no call sent a text no response until this morning  ruined our evening and lost money

We are thinking of only guaranteeing rooms for 30 mins after advised arrival time - if no call about being latter etc then will relet - once we decide what we are going to do, to prevent us wasting time and loosing money the conditions will be on our web site/printed literature

The long dry spell contimues

Still no rain here, sunny and warm, all antique wrought iron garden furniture back from shot  blasting, repair and painting - it all looks great and no doubt will be treasured by someone many years after we have passed on - one point the bench needs 3 men to lift it!!!

An international week

Our guersts so far this week have included Italians and Spaniards and all took the oppurtunity we offer of paying in Euro's

Valentines Weekend 2011

Middle daughter Jackie staying for a few days - off to Hive Beach Cafe for lunch, went to Longs Fish Restaurant on Sat night - very good cod as usual

Lots of bookings for our self catering bungalow and apartment in Laglio on Lake Como
